Define Design Specification

This should be a collaborative effort, with Kenrick nominally leading and with heavy input from John (as he's the one who knows exactly what we want to achieve).
The specification should define all aspects of the application's intended functionality in as much detail as possible. It should be exhaustive, definitive and specific.
Coding should not start until this is complete.
